Rilis Pengembangan openSUSE 16.0 Beta

The openSUSE proyek mengumumkan ketersediaan openSUSE 16.0 beta, a development snapshot previewing fitur coming in the next version of the proyek’s stable Leap branch. Many of the key changes focus on removing legacy paket.

Leap 16.0 with its fresh fork brings a renewed foundation and cleaner sistem. Expected to be Wayland-only (some X.Org remnants remain for now). SysV init dukungan has been dropped. The new Agama installer is now the default. The traditional YaST stack is retired in favor of: Cockpit for sistem management; Myrlyn as a drop-in replacement for the YaST Software GUI. (Note: YaST is still tersedia in Tumbleweed but will no longer be developed; YaST has been removed from Leap 16 and Myrlyn takes on this role of perangkat lunak installation like YaST. If someone is interested in the maintenance of YaST for further development and perbaikan bug, the source are tersedia on GitHub.
