Rilis FreeBSD 14.3

Colin Percival telah mengumumkan rilis FreeBSD 14.3, the proyek’s terbaru point rilis which will be supported until 30 June, 2026. The rilis brings dukungan untuk the 802.11ac networking standard in the iwlwifi network card driver dan pembaruan several paket, notably OpenSSH untuk versi 9.9p2 dan OpenSSL untuk versi 3.0.16.

The FreeBSD Release Engineering team is pleased untuk announce the availability of FreeBSD 14.3-RELEASE. Rilis ini is the fourth rilis of the stabil/14 branch. Some of the highlights: 802.11ac is kini supported by the iwlwifi driver untuk modern chipsets found in many laptops; OCI container images are kini published in Docker dan GitHub repositories; LLVM dan associated tools have been upgraded untuk versi 19.1.7; OpenZFS has been diperbarui untuk versi 2.2.7; OpenSSH has been upgraded untuk versi 9.9p2; xz has been upgraded untuk versi 5.8.1; expat has been upgraded untuk 2.7.1.
