Nelson Silveria mengumumkan ketersediaan rilis beta kelima Dreamlinux 4.0, distribusi ramah pengguna berbasis Debian dengan Xfce tampilan desktop seperti Mac OS X:

Team Dreamlinux is proud to announce that the next beta of Dreamlinux is now available. This brings Dreamlinux 4.0 to beta 5, along with some interesting features: based on Debian testing; Xfce 4.6.1; Java and Mono runtime since several applications rely on these two platforms; Linux kernel 2.6.32.10; complete framework for compiling sources; C, C++, Objective-C, Ruby, Python, Perl, Vala and Lua programming languages; Firefox 3.6.3; Brasero for CD/DVD burning; SMPlayer media player; ePDFViewer; Geany text editor, good for everything, including programming; GIMP 2.6.8, Inkscape 0.47; Smart package manager with several utilities. The installer is text-based at the moment as the developers work on a revamped GUI for the final.
