The CachyOS team telah mengumumkan rilis the distribusi’s August snapshot. Rilis baru rilis adds an option untuk pasang the Niri window manager dan automated Btrfs boot environments.
The pemasangan medium (ISO) kini juga menggunakan the LTS kernel instead of the terbaru stabil kernel, since the ISO needs untuk boot reliably without graphics-related issues. Using the LTS kernel could cause future compatibility gaps - untuk example, when baru AMD atau Intel GPUs require a newer kernel.
